A redesigned editor with a cleaner studio layout

The editor is rebuilt like a real video studio: your templates in a scrollable left sidebar, all your media in a resizable bar along the bottom, and your reel playing front and center on a calm, uncluttered canvas.

• Templates live in a left sidebar where each card plays its preview inline, with a Play all toggle and a grid button that opens the full browser.
• Your media sits in a bar across the bottom: upload and screenshot on one side, your selected order as a drag-to-reorder strip, and your whole library as a click-to-add grid. Drag the bar taller whenever you want more room.
• A refined, tonal look throughout, with floating panels, hairline borders, and a soft dot grid behind the player, in both light and an editor-only dark mode.
• The screenshot tab now explains itself: paste a site to capture its hero, add a section anchor to grab just that block, or drop a direct image link to bring it in as-is.
• Controls share consistent rounding and spacing, and edges softly fade wherever a list runs off-screen, so it is always clear there is more to see.

Orbit: your work wraps a slowly turning 3D ring

Your work wraps a tilted 3D ring that turns slowly through space, each piece curving with the ring as it sweeps through the bright front and recedes into the back. A calm, dimensional way to show a whole body of work.

• Tip and roll the ring to taste, from a thin edge-on band to a wide overhead oval.
• Cards curve along the ring, and the far side dims into the background for real depth.
• Set how fast it spins, how many turns it makes, and which way it goes; whole turns loop seamlessly.
• Fit each piece by cropping it to the slot or letterboxing it whole.

Riffle: drop your work onto a growing stack

Cards drop in from the top and stack into a pile, each new one landing on the front as the deck builds through your work. Shape the stack and pick how each card enters.

• Cards fall from the top and stack centered, newest on the front, pushing the rest back a slot.
• Pick the entrance — drop, pop, or flick — and the easing: ease-out, linear, or spring.
• Shape the pile with stack depth, per-card rotation, X/Y offset, and shadow.
• Fit each card with crop, fit, or natural, and tune hold and drop timing.

Add music and sound effects to any reel

Every template can now carry a background music track and transition sound effects. Turn them on in the new Audio tab, pick from a library of tracks, and preview everything before you render.

• Background music works on every template. Switch it on, choose a track, and set the volume; it fades in at the start and out at the end.
• Transition sound effects punctuate each moment in a template, and you can swap the sound for any transition or mute it with one tap.
• Preview any track or sound with the play buttons before you commit, at a clear, audible level.
• Audio stays off until you turn it on, so a reel only carries the sound you chose.

Folio: spill your work from a folder, then fan it out

A folder opens and spills your work into a grid, spotlights each piece in turn, then gathers it all back and fans it across a two-row marquee. A playful, polished walk through a body of work.

Find your way around the editor

New here? The empty editor now shows a welcome screen and hand-drawn arrows pointing to where you upload, pick a template, tweak it, and export.

• The empty editor greets you with a Welcome to Reelfolio screen and four numbered steps.
• Hand-drawn lines point from the preview to each area of the editor until you add your first media.

Render showreels with the public API

On a paid plan, you can now render showreels from your own code or an AI agent, no editor needed. Create a key, read the docs, and go.

• Generate and manage API keys from a new API Keys page, with copy-once secrets and revoke support.
• Send a render request and check its status over a simple REST API, merging your settings over each template's defaults.
• A redesigned docs site covers every template with preview videos, settings tables, and copy-paste JSON.
• A ready-made Claude skill lets you render straight from your assistant.

Polished marketing pages and creator tweets

We refreshed link previews, homepage social proof, the template gallery, the free tools pages, and added dedicated landing pages for screenshots and mockups.

• Shared links now show a clean brand card that mirrors the homepage headline instead of a screenshot.
• Added more user tweets with lazy loading and a Load more button, so they load fast and stay compact.
• The homepage template gallery loads instantly on hover-out and shows a live count of extra templates you can use inside the app.
• Redesigned the free tools pages with real captures and live showreel previews, including before-and-after examples.
• Added dedicated Screenshot to Video and Mockup Video Maker pages and clarified that Reelfolio works with screenshots and mockups alike.
• Added creator testimonials and a template preview carousel to the sign-in page so you can see real results before you join.
• Pricing now reads Pay once, own it forever with a Best Value badge, plus a Pricing link in the navigation so it is easy to find.
